Real estate for sale in Umbria - this is a farmhouse in Allerona, in Terni province. L’antico Contado di Meana is a farm estate on the remains of an ancient country hamlet in the municipality of Allerona, 580m above sea level.

Surrounded by the charming typical landscape of the Crete, with its fantastic views, the estate is located near Fabro and Orvieto, at the meeting point of Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio. The A1 highway exit at Fabro is at less than 10km away, reachable through a partially gravelled and partially tarmac road, gently winding on the hillsides.

Nearby there's the Tuscan village of San Casciano dei Bagni, very well known for its thermal springs (10km) and spas, and the lovely towns of Allerona, Orvieto and Città della Pieve.

Near the pool, the current owners have set out a flat area for making a tennis court or mini-soccer field; from here also starts a jogging trail. A wooden stable of 60sqm has been erected down in the area beneath the main buildings, to house the goats who live here. Further downhill, a fenced area has been prepared for creating a horse-riding centre. Fresh water is abundant; all services are available and working.
