This property for sale in Tuscany is a country estate with private park and pool.

The main house was restored in 1978 and the original structure and form was by and large maintained, with the exception of the floors of the ground level, where more modern terracotta tiles have been laid. The upper floor retains the original tiles.

On the ground floor: a large central entry hall with the staircase leading to the first floor, the main sitting room with stone fireplace, a second sitting room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and bathroom. The main entrance and the dining room each open onto the front covered patio through French doors. The laundry room has a back door that opens onto a small patio from which the service room with the main water heaters is accessed.

On the upper floor: a central sitting room, an office/studio, four bedrooms, a wardrobe and two bathrooms, one of which is smallish, with shower only.

The restored barn is located across the courtyard from the main residence, a distance of 35 metres. The two buildings are separated by patio and lawn. The secondary residence is composed of a kitchen, dining room and a large living room on the ground floor, and a large upstairs landing, two large bedrooms and a small bedroom, plus a large bathroom on the first floor.

There is access to the gardens from both the kitchen and the living room, and a small patio in front of the kitchen entrance. Upstairs, the two large bedrooms each have a set of double door-sized windows that open onto the view of the gardens. This residence was restored in 1991, with careful attention to maintaining the barn’s original features. The final barn is also two storeys, but completely empty inside. There is a doorway onto the patio shared with the kitchen entrance of the restored barn, and a set of garage doors at the farthest end. Although the roof is in good condition, unlike the roofs of the two finished houses, this one has not been insulated.

The surrounding garden is predominantly lawn and easy to maintain. There is also almost a hectare of forest at the back of the property. There is a gated entrance to the compound and a central drive leading to a gravelled parking area with some covered parking. The large swimming pool is tiled, and the surrounding area landscaped. Next to the main house is a beautiful well dating from the year 1600. The complex enjoys a very private position without being isolated; Lucca is less than ten minutes by car.
