Set deep in the green of Tuscany, this Italian real estate for sale is a very old farmhouse, dating back to the 15th century.
The house is in Bucine, in Tuscany's Arezzo province (of which more below). The house has been beautifully and carefully renovated, with the utmost respect to the environmental nature of this lovely part of Italy. We now have a holiday farmhouse with loads of space - the living areas total 700 square metres with the main house and five guest apartments, plus a small independent house. There is approximately 13 hectares of vineyard around the house, producing Chianti DOCG.
Bucine is a comune (town) some 45km south-east of Florence (Firenze) and 20km west of Arezzo. In December 2004, it had a population of 9,693 and an area of 131.1 square kilometres.
