This 16th century convent has been remodelled into a superb Umbrian country home, with swimming pool. |
This sixteenth century stone house is a former convent, lying on a green hillside overlooking the ancient hilltop town of Todi.
The house sits 500 metres above sea level, surrounded by lush vegetation, and offering breathtaking view over the rolling hills between Todi and Orvieto. Renovated between 1990 and 1995, it has all the typical features of an old Umbrian building: stone walls, old wooden beams, handmade terracotta tiles. The large former stable, with the original manger, has direct access to acovered pergola offering a magnificent view over Todi and the green field. The swimming pool sits framed by fir and oak trees.
